SUMMARY

Onpoint Health Data is seeking a Professional Writer & Digital Marketing Associate to produce polished written and visual client-facing materials, support business development opportunities, and develop compelling, high-impact content for strategic online marketing initiatives. This dynamic role sits at the intersection of professional communications, marketing, and business development and is ideal for someone who writes with clarity, creativity, and precision; who has a drive for researching and assessing market developments and competitors; and who can craft compelling, high-impact content to support strategic marketing initiatives across digital channels.

The ideal candidate is both a detail-oriented writer and a creative thinker who can tailor messaging for diverse audiences – from policymakers to healthcare leaders to the general public – while supporting strategic initiatives that position Onpoint as a trusted leader in healthcare data and analytics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Professional Writing & Content Development
    • Translate complex information into clear, engaging language suitable for specific, diverse audiences
    • Review and edit content developed across internal departments to ensure effective, accurate content and messaging
    • Write, edit, and proofread content for websites, blogs, news posts, social media, and digital campaigns
    • Help create thought-leadership materials, case studies, and press releases aligned with organizational goals
    • Maintain an exceptional standard of accuracy, grammar, and attention to detail across all materials
    • Ensure that all content aligns with Onpoint’s brand standards, voice, values, and visual identity
  • Business Development Support
    • Help manage the development, coordination, drafting, and refining of narrative for business proposals
    • Monitor industry developments, client news, and competitive positioning
    • Assist with tracking emerging trends, innovations, and product features to inform brand and growth strategies
    • Help research, plan, and assist logistically with conference and event participation
    • Maintain and update internal conference and events calendars to facilitate alignment across teams and ensure the timely execution of related deliverables
    • Support strategic planning initiatives, including preparing materials for board meetings, executive briefings, and other growth-focused presentations
  • Digital Marketing & Campaign Management
    • Plan, execute, and analyze digital marketing campaigns across social media and email channels
    • Track production schedules, manage deadlines, and coordinate with internal teams to draft content, gather input, and secure approvals
    • Monitor campaign performance, analyze website traffic, and contribute insights for potential improvements
    • Stay current with industry trends, digital marketing tools, and emerging content formats
    • Experiment with new storytelling techniques, media platforms, and content delivery methods
    • Brainstorm creative ideas for campaigns, social posts, storytelling initiatives, and audience engagement strategies

Other
• Understand the value that Onpoint places on maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of our company and client data and meet applicable privacy and security compliance requirements
• Ensure that Onpoint and client data is accessed, handled, processed, transmitted, disclosed, and stored according to operational and IT policies and procedures
• Immediately report any suspected or actual violation of privacy and security policies or unauthorized access or disclosure of Onpoint or client data
• Understand that compliance with all privacy and security policies, laws, and regulations is part of each employee's annual performance evaluation
• Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the Onpoint Health Data Employee Handbook
• Perform all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, marketing, communications, or related fields
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exacting attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in both language and presentation
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex concepts and data into accessible written and visual content
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office as well as social media platforms and tools (especially LinkedIn and Canva)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment
  • Strong project management, organizational, and collaborative skills, with an ability to integrate input from diverse stakeholders and manage multiple projects on deadline
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across all organizational levels
  • Flexible, adaptable, and willing to contribute wherever needed to support team, program, and organizational goals
