Updates on Telehealth and COVID-19 Coding & Value-Adds in Your Data Sets
Presenter: Janice Bourgault, CPB, CPC, Senior Director of Process & Product Development
Join Onpoint for our March 2022 user group meeting to keep pace with the changing codes, billing rules, and data enhancements for both COVID-19 and telehealth services.
This session will provide an overview of telehealth services, how they are coded, and which codes and billing rules are permanent and which instead are related to the pandemic. We’ll also offer an update on the coding and billing guidelines related to COVID-19, including a review of the various COVID-19 diagnosis and procedure codes (e.g., COVID infection, long COVID, personal history of COVID, vaccination, testing, treatment), how they are reported on claims, and what to look for when working with APCD data.
This meeting also will include a review of the latest coding guidelines and how to most efficiently use Onpoint’s telehealth and COVID-19 value-add flags to support your analyses.
Registration for this session is closed. Please reach out to Onpoint directly with any additional questions.
