About Working at Onpoint
Why did you decide to work for Onpoint?
My education and previous experience were focused on health policy and management, and I’ve always been drawn to fast-paced and dynamic environments with a high level of collaboration and teamwork. I have a knack for planning, thrive in customer-facing roles, and need to be passionate about the organization’s mission. I’m fortunate to have found Onpoint, which checks all of those boxes for me.
What do you enjoy most about working at Onpoint?
To me, the best things about Onpoint are its people and the client relationships that we hold so important. Our team is incredibly smart, hard working, and just really kind and genuine. What advice would you give to someone just starting in your field?
Be patient with yourself. This industry is ever-changing and can be extremely complex. It’s important to give yourself time to understand the bigger-picture landscape, which ultimately will set you up for success as it continues to evolve.
How do teamwork and collaboration play a role in your day-to-day work?
Both are essential! My team and I greatly benefit from sharing best practices, especially when helping each other navigate questions so we can leverage lessons learned to benefit all of our clients. This teamwork and collaboration are critical when it comes to identifying and capitalizing on efficiencies and building upon successes.
