SUMMARY

Onpoint is looking for a mid-to-senior level engineer for one of our system development teams. This is a great opportunity for a talented developer who is comfortable working in a small team and taking ownership of technical solutions. Onpoint is the market leader in healthcare claims data management and reporting. Our systems are designed for scalability, processing and storing the healthcare data for 130 million individuals across the U.S. on behalf of our clients. This position will play a key role in designing and operating a secure, highly performant data access platform for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and maintain public facing web applications
  • Architect backend services and database schemas
  • Write and implement smart, efficient, practical code
  • Monitor and optimize system performance
  • Balance hands on software development with project coordination
  • Support more junior team members through code reviews and peer programming
  • Recommend, test, and evaluate new software tools
  • Write useful, clear, and articulate documentation
  • Serve as a role model and mentor for junior developers, providing feedback on technical solutions and advice on opportunities for improvement

  • Understand the value that Onpoint places on maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of our corporate and client data and meet applicable privacy and security compliance requirements
  • Ensure that Onpoint and client data is accessed, handled, processed, transmitted, disclosed, and stored according to operational and IT policies and procedures
  • Immediately report any suspected or actual violation of privacy and security policies or unauthorized access or disclosure of Onpoint or client data
  • Understand that compliance with all privacy and security policies, laws, and regulations is part of each employee’s annual performance evaluation
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the Onpoint Health Data Employee Handbook
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related field
  • Strong experience in application development using languages such as Ruby, Javascript, and SQL
  • Familiarity with Web App development technologies and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails and React
  • Familiarity with AWS services
  • Experience designing and working with databases and complex data structures
  • Experience in Java & Spring is a plus
  • Healthcare data or data visualization experience is a plus
  • Ability to interpret complex information from various sources and communicate technical concepts and procedures to colleagues, customers, and others
  • Attention to detail and curiosity to probe further into data
  • Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be held accountable for deliverables and timeframes
  • Ability to work effectively independently, within, and across teams
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

OVERVIEW

The Cloud Support Engineer (CSE) works collaboratively with Onpoint business team members, systems developers, and other technical operations team members to build, support, and maintain IT infrastructure assets in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. The role’s broad responsibilities cover all aspects of IT support services from supporting end-users to maintaining AWS environments. It requires excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills. Successful CSEs are highly productive and possess the ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain cloud-based infrastructure in the AWS cloud
  • Perform IT related tasks in accordance with Onpoint’s Information Security Program
  • Assist in the configuration, monitoring and maintenance of Onpoint’s networks
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux systems
  • Actively monitor system performance, logs, and health and proactively report abnormalities
  • Provide end user support to Onpoint employees and clients
  • Administer and manage Microsoft Office 365
  • Support and manage Windows laptops
  • Build and maintain virtual servers to support application requirements
  • Contribute to new and existing system and procedural documentation
  • Understand the value that Onpoint places on maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of our corporate and client data and meet applicable privacy and security compliance requirements

  • 0-4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • AWS or Azure experience/certification is a plus
  • Windows operating system experience
  • Microsoft Active Directory experience
  • Microsoft Office suite experience
  • Microsoft 365 experience
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Experience with security applications and protocols
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects as required
  • Knowledge of desktops, laptops, and servers
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, or R a plus
  • Knowledge of PC hardware, printers, and mobile devices
  • Knowledge of Linux a plus

OVERVIEW

Onpoint Health Data is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a key role in providing administrative support to Onpoint’s President/CEO in addition to keeping our team and clients supported with a high-level of coordination, strong communication, and consistent follow-through.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides administrative support to President/CEO, including scheduling meetings, overseeing calendar, covering calls, coordinating travel, registration and coordination of conference attendance, tracking and reconciliation of business expenses, and planning and preparation for meetings and functions
  • Ensures the day-today operations of our office run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Projects a high degree of professionalism in interactions with Onpoint’s staff, board, clients, and other partners
  • Organizes on-site and off-site meetings, including reserving conference rooms or facilities, scheduling and providing teleconferencing information, tracking attendance, picking up/setting up food/beverages, setting up computer and audio/visual equipment, projecting presentations, etc.
  • Performs financial management support, including recording cash receivables and maintaining spreadsheets, processing reimbursable expenses, and assisting staff with the purchase of work-related items
  • Facility-related responsibilities include maintaining expertise in office equipment (copier, other), coordinating parking access to garage, ensuring adequate supplies and ordering/reordering as necessary, coordinating office maintenance needs, keeping common areas well organized and presentable (and providing instructions to others as needed)
  • Maintains and organizes companywide documents, ensuring consistent file naming and saving conventions are followed, preparing and assembling reports or proposals, serving as a resource on MS Office, and assisting with PowerPoint presentations.
  • Provides Human Resources and Accounting support as needed
  • Understands the value that Onpoint places on maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of its corporate and customer data and meeting its applicable privacy and security compliance requirements.
  • Ensures that Onpoint and customer data subject to privacy and security protections is accessed, handled, processed, transmitted, disclosed, and stored according to operational and IT policies and procedures.
  • Immediately reports any suspected or actual violation of privacy and security policies or unauthorized access or disclosure of Onpoint or customer data.
  • Understands that compliance with all privacy and security policies, laws, and regulations is part of each employee’s annual performance evaluation.
  • Performs other duties as requested such as picking up food or supplies, mailing materials, running errands as needed, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong communication skills, including excellent writing and grammar skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative support position preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to prioritize and work in fast-paced environment
