About Yourself
Tell us a bit about yourself. What do you like to do outside of work? Any hobbies or hidden talents that your team might not know about?
I love being outside, so skiing, hiking, and playing with the pups. I also got very into woodworking a few years ago. I built my own bed frame, some cutting boards, and my raised beds. I love the feeling of chopping things up into a million pieces and then putting them back together into something that will last me a lifetime. It feels like a big puzzle.
How would you describe your role? What skills do you rely on most?
I would say that my role is ensuring the data our clients rely upon to make healthcare-related decisions is complete and of good quality. Listening to both client goals and understanding submitter data availability is a critical skill in helping teams bridge the gap between data and their population’s healthcare needs.
What are some highlights of your work – both in your role and with your team?
Helping researchers measure their program outcomes and get one step closer to solving pressing healthcare issues. The moment the data *clicks* in a study is really exciting to see.
