Onpoint Continues Partnership with United Way to Support Those in Need

December 2020 – This fall, Onpoint kicked off our annual campaign to support the United Way of Greater Portland, Maine, and the organization’s work helping those in need across our community. Representatives from the United Way and Portland’s Preble Street Resource Center joined our kick-off rally to review the important work being done by both organizations to provide housing, meals, career counseling, and other social supports for people in need.
2020 marks the fortieth year that Onpoint has worked to support the United Way in its effort to help strengthen our local communities. This year, Onpoint’s staff exceeded our participation and fundraising goals, which was coupled with a corporate match, to provide support to the United Way and its community partners. This year has been an especially difficult year for too many and has further emphasized the importance of supporting those around us. Thanks to everyone for their efforts to help.
